Transforming a Luxury Hotel Corridor with Mirror Gold
Hotel corridors are often overlooked in interior design, yet they offer an opportunity to create a distinctive first impression. In this project, Form’It Mirror Gold transforms an ordinary corridor into an elegant, immersive space.
Its reflective golden finish adds warmth, depth and visual interest to the walls. Once shaped by hand, the material creates a sculptural surface that interacts with the surrounding light, bringing a sense of refinement and contemporary glamour to the interior.
Form’It Mirror Gold: Shape Memory Textile for Decorative Design
Form’It Mirror Gold combines a reflective decorative finish with the flexibility of Form’It’s shape memory technology. The material can be crumpled, folded and shaped by hand to create distinctive three-dimensional effects.
Unlike conventional flat mirror surfaces, its sculptural finish introduces texture and movement into an interior. This makes it a creative solution for designers, architects, decorators and scenographers looking to create original feature walls and bespoke decorative installations.
A Creative Collaboration with Interior Designers
The hotel project reflects a close collaboration between the Form’It team and designers. By combining material innovation with a considered interior concept, the team created a distinctive space that responds to the establishment’s identity and design requirements.
Form’It’s adaptable material opens up opportunities for bespoke decorative solutions in hospitality, retail and commercial interiors.
A Decorative Mirror Ceiling for a Bakery
Form’It’s creative applications extend beyond hospitality. In another project, Form’It Mirror was used to create a distinctive ceiling for a renowned bakery.
The reflective silver surface helps distribute light throughout the space and creates a more visually expansive atmosphere. The ceiling becomes a feature in its own right, enhancing the customer experience and giving the bakery a memorable interior identity.
Shape Memory Textile for Bespoke Interior Decoration
From luxury hotel corridors and decorative ceilings to boutiques, reception areas, conference rooms and private residences, Form’It Mirror and Mirror Gold offer designers new ways to work with texture, light and reflective surfaces.
Form’It’s shape memory textile is lightweight, easy to shape and reusable, making it suitable for creative interior decoration and temporary installations. Different finishes allow each project to develop its own visual identity.
